At Unique Printers, we’ve long been committed to environmentally responsible printing. We’ve been certified by the EPA as low
emitter of VOCs (Volatile Organic Compounds). Our careful handling of all chemicals is aimed at limiting their exposure to the environment.
Unique uses no petroleum-based inks; we’ve been using 100% vegetable-based inks for over 6 years.
As one of the first printers in the Chicago area to receive Forest Stewardship Council Chain-of-Custody Certification, Unique is committed
to helping our customers and the paper industry insure the health and vibrancy of the world’s forests.
Organizations of every size are starting to place greater stress on being socially and environmentally responsible. Customers, the
community and stakeholders are raising their voices to urge companies to help keep our planet a livable, sustainable place.
But even if you want to become more ‘green’, it may be confusing. The issues and tradeoffs can be complex (Recycled Paper! Sustainable
Forestry! Chlorine-free!) Sorting through the issues (not to mention all the environmental seals!) can be confusing. We can help you
understand a few of the issues…and ways that you might address them.
