Unique Printers and Active Graphics Merge to better serve the market.

On November 7, Unique Printers and Active Graphics merged to form a new company.

In the near term, the merged company will continue to operate under both names while we explore the development of a new name and brand. The company will be based out of Unique’s Cicero location. Active’s employees (including sales, customer service and production) will be making the move to Cicero. The managements of both Active and Unique will be staying with the company. Clients will continue to deal with the same people they’ve built relationships with – the same sales, production, estimators, etc.

We’re in the process of expanding our plant to accommodate both companies. As part of this expansion, we’re adding two new presses (one 6-color and one 8-color) and are expanding the bindery and pre-press departments. Our goal is to have the expansion complete the first week of January.

Merging will allow Unique and Active to provide their customers with greater service, higher quality and a wider range of offerings. We’ll be able to do this with very little disruption.

While this is a big step for us, it shouldn’t cause any disruption to our customers. You’ll still continue to work with the same people you’ve built relationships with over the years. We think it will help us improve our ability to serve you.
